Well today seems to for another round of confirm interview. This time round they would be telling me their offer. I do hope that I can "buy time" from there while awaiting for Volvo to respond by this week. But I think the deal is off once I see a pay cut from them.
I think it just don't make sense for me to accept a pay cut to learn. And on the other hand I am not willing to accept this theory lah! Anyway Login here not too long only then now busy again! Wah very sian one lah! don't know why always like tat.... Back to work.
Finally the most simple and easy card is here. Without me require to fill in application form and I did nothing just by photocopy IC that all. Hee. Today went to Funan and was like haze like mad. Is killing me.

It's really being a long while since I last login to blog. Life was really busy and there was once I was thinking of switching job. So a little confuse on what type to search and look for and am going to accept those half standard job offer. Thanks god a I turn down gucci and hoping that Volvo would take me in.
Anyway went to Vivocity on wedenday evening with my Dearz. Wah enjoy awhile until we got hungry and start to curse that place. Here are some photo taken there.

Went to Vivocity with DD yesterday. First impression: 'Omg...it's grand. This is definitely
the next big thing in Singapore.' There was crowd although it was a wednesday. Vivocity is definitely BIG...so big that many were lost and seeking help/crowding around the shopping's directory and hogging the information centre. Food was apparently the main concern of many shoppers, including us. We walked like what seemed like miles, touring/searching/combing the whole vivocity for a food outlet... we even walked to harbourfront centre twice! Omg. It seems like there's only ONE food outlet available; even MacDonald's and Burger King ain't there yet. Carl's Jr was flooded with hungry customers, and to think many(including us) missed the restaurant simply because it was cluttered with all the congratulatory bouquets of flowers around its borders.
Their burgers are huge! Especially mine... western bacon cheeseburger, if I'm not wrong. It appeared eye catching on the menu due to large space it occupied, giving me the impression that it could be one of Carl's Jr speciality or something. Whoa! DD was amused to see me trying to tackle a burger twice the size of his. 'U are so small. See your small hand on the big burger...' Argh~ Our table was very messy, all thanks to me. I was using the serviette like no one's business. My burger was literally filled with the never ending lettuce, onions, tomatoes and whatever-veggies. That explains the size. Hur hur.
No doubt Vivocity was planned to be a big money-spinning project with its many retail shops, but the design was quite disappointing. Toilets were difficult to find (DD overheard two teen guys complaining that they finally found a toilet), the flooring was far too slippery (I saw a toddler slip), the layout was confusing (plenty of confused customers).
Well, enough of the lamentations. At least we all now have one more place to shop. And as what DD said, it's a fun place because it is 'adventurous' (searching for food, drinks, toilets...). Haha.*****
Enough of the fun. Was on my way home after visiting Vivocity when I started to let my thoughts flow again.
I realised that since the dawn of time, Man always:
- Like to own things and have more things.
Be it a simple earring, watch...you name it, Man wants it. Before civilisation, Man make and own tools. After civilisation, the same applies. PDAs, Mp3 players, digital cameras, laptops, handphones, cars... you name it. Who doesn't want to own it? To Man, things are 'the more the merrier'. Man love to take ownership of things. Like to make things their own. For some, they may even see their spouse as an ownership item.
- want power.
In the ladder of success, Man always want to climb up higher and higher. Why? For job satisfaction? To help the world? No. It's for self. For power. And more power. It began with dominance over the animals during the first existence of Man, then the power to reign, the power to rule, power to control... never ending. We are always thirsty for power and more power. But the question is: Are we going for the right power?
And yes, money is also a form of power :)
- love beauty.
Nope, in this context, I'm not talking about the love of Nature. But vanity. Guys, don't shake your head and deny this. Tell me, when you wake up in the morning, if you do not have the slighest vanity in you, you won't use facial foam to wash your face, but simply soap and water. Man always want to look good, feel good, and make people think that THEY ARE GOOD. Haha. It's not just girls that are vain, although I have to admit, the extent of vanity for girls can be very extreme (speaking of that, this days I feel that my face is rotting due to the haze! Argh! *ahem* back to the topic). Cosmetics, one of woman's good friend. Although we know consciously or subconsciously that the stuff we are putting on our face is actually carbon and soil from the earth, we still want to beautify ourselves. Even if placenta (an organ that supplys food and oxygen to the fetus through the umbilical cord. It is expelled after birth) is used in cosmetics.
- want to look young
Well, that explains the fear of death and the constant search for longevity. Nowadays, we are constantly bombarded with advertisements, testimonials, promotions and gimmicks on products which promises to make us look younger, fairer. Age defying treatments and products are hot in the market. Yup, this also relates to Man's love for beauty. Haha. We always want the above things: own stuff, gain power, look beautiful. But we all know that we live WITH time, meaning all that we manage to achieve will turn to dust one day. Hence the great fear for Death, fear of ageing. We do not want things to be temporal. We want it to last. But sadly, Nature does not mean for us to live forever.
